AGILITY, VERSATILITY
MiCOM P40 Agile lEDs provide an
integrated solution for the complete
protection, control and monitoring of
electrical power systems. Application for
overhead lines, underground cables,
busbars, breakers, transformers,
reactors, distributed generation and
motors is supported, right from
distribution (as primary protection) to
transmission voltage levels (as back-up).
The lEDs are suitable for application in
solidly-earthed, resistance-earthed and
Petersen coil systems alike.
THE PERFECT BALANCE:
STANDARDISED AND ADAPTABLE
With a wide range of protection functions
as standard, MiCOM P14N, P14D and
P94V lEDs also offer additional pre-
configured applications for smaller
generators and a choice of functionality
applicable to overhead lines. This allows
the user to conveniently scale the
application, which is then readily adapted
via simple enable/disable feature
selection in the configuration menu.
The lEDs offer a universal wide-range
power supply, universal 1 A/5 A CT
inputs (software selectable), and
universal binary inputs - the latter with
programmable pickup thresholds.
Harmonisation at just one ordering
option is often possible, easing the task of
creating standard cubicle designs and
strategic spares holding.
