(NOx) formed in combustion processes. With more than 25 years of experience in SCR

NOx control.
SCR technology converts flue gas NOx to nitrogen and water through a catalytically
promoted reaction with a reducing agent such as ammonia. Alstom’s expert knowledge
in fluid dynamics has led to the development of
proprietary injection and mixing systems that create
optimum solutions for site-specific conditions that
produce the desired chemical reactions within the
context of reduced ducting and simplified layouts. By
injecting ammonia into flue gas, NOx is converted into
nitrogen and water. Alstom’s SCR technology ensures
controlled ammonia flow for optimal NOx reduction.
