Performance and operational flexibility

For today’s competitive power market, plant owners require: lower production costs,
increased operational flexibility while maintaining emissions compliance.
The Alstom GT11N gas turbine has proven to be both efficient and reliable. To meet
market demands and provide value-added lifetime extension options, Alstom developed
a fully stage-optimised airfoil design that increases the mass flow through the unit to
deliver a substantial power increase of 7.3%* at unchanged firing temperature.
The GT11NMC achieves this performance improvement purely based on advanced
aerodynamic blading and without an increase in the thermal stress on components.
So the reliability, availability and maintainability of the unit remain consistently high.

APPLICATION

The GT11NMC is a straightforward retrofit suitable for all GT11NM ratings,
independent of the combustor and fuel used. The implementation can be done on-site
within the framework of a regular C-inspection
