ding. They are equipped with built-on

pre- and after filtration and are sized

for volumetric flows of up to 139 m3/h

Compressed air first enters the va-

nnnn

lidated GL pre-filter into one of two

nnnn

twin-profiles; both filled with a speci-

nnnn

fic drying-agent. One chamber dries

nnnn

and removes harmful vapours from

nnnn

the compressed air while the other

nnnn

chamber undergoes regeneration.

At the start of the drying-cycle, this

nnnn

chamber is open to atmosphere and a

nnnn

small proportion of dried compressed

nnnn

air passes through the adsorption bed,

nnnn

transporting the humidity and harmful

nnnn

vapours out. When this procedure is

nnnn

complete, the vessel is re-pressurised

nnnn

in readiness to repeat the drying

nnnn

procedure. Continuous, uninterrup-

nnnn

ted operation is maintained utilising

nnnn

so-called pressure-swing technology

nnnn

together with individually operated

nnnn

main- and exhaust valves.

Dry compressed air subsequently
