The units are constructed in a compact

ing. They are equipped with built-on

pre- and after filtration and are sized

for volumetric flows of up to 1371 m3/h

referring to a compression of 13 barj.

Compressed air first enters the

nnnn

validated GL pre-filter into one of two

nnnn

twin-vessels; both filled with a specific

nnnn

drying-agent. One vessel dries and

nnnn

removes harmful vapours from the

nnnn

compressed air while the other vessel

nnnn

undergoes regeneration. At the start

nnnn

of the drying-cycle, this vessel is open

nnnn

to atmosphere and a small propor-

nnnn

tion of dried compressed air passes

nnnn

through the adsorption bed, transport-

nnnn

ing the humidity and harmful vapours

nnnn

out. When this procedure is complete,

nnnn

the vessel is re-pressurised in readi-

nnnn

ness to repeat the drying procedure.

Continuous, uninterrupted opera-

nnnn

tion is maintained utilising so-called

pressure-swing technology together

nnnn

with individually operated main- and

nnnn

exhaust valves.

Dry compressed air subsequently

enters the integral purification and

catalytic stage where oil-vapour,

odours, gaseous vapours and traces

of carbon-monoxide are reliably

removed. Finally, the clean, treated air

exits via the validated GL after-filter

into the downstream compressed air

network.

The BSP-MT10-95 Breathing-air treat-

ment system operates a fixed, timed

changeover-cycle between the two

dryer vessels. Where the application

requires additional monitoring, the

installation of a dew point sensor is

available as an option: The chosen

ver set-point) allow the changeover
