Product range

Bronkhorst High-Tech B.V., established in 1981, offers the most extensive product range of thermal mass flow meters and controllers on the market. Numerous styles of both standard and bespoke instruments can be offered for applications in laboratory, industrial and hazardous areas.
The full scale measuring range (with 50:1 turn-down) for these instruments can be selected between 0-0,7 mln/min and 0-11000 m3n/h for gases and 0-100 mg/h up to 0-20 kg/h for liquids. Furthermore Bronkhorst High-Tech offers pressure transducers and controllers with a minimum range of 0-100 mbar and a maximum range of 0-400 bar. Bronkhorst's Coriolis Mass Flow Meters/Controllers for gases and liquids have a measurement capability between 0,1...5 g/h and 6...600 kg/h. The most recent development is a series of ultra-compact, chip-sensor based instruments for gas flow and pressure measurement and control.

Global marketing and support

Bronkhorst High-Tech is a truly world-wide organisation with its Headquarters being located in the town of Ruurlo in The Netherlands. With approx. 275 employees at our Headquarters, it is impressive that 45 of these are involved with R&D, 120 in manufacture and 40 involved with after-sales service and customer care. In actual fact, the Customer Service Department offers "round-the-clock" support, seven days a week, to customers in every corner of the world.

In addition to the sales office in Veenendaal of The Netherlands there are subsidiary offices in Great Britain, France, Switzerland, northern Germany, the USA, Japan, China, Taiwan and South Korea whereby local expertise and service is offered. The total head-count at these offices is now around 100 employees.

Bronkhorst High-Tech has also built up an extensive complementary network of distributors and service stations across the rest of Europe and, indeed, yet further representation in such countries as Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Israel, India, South Africa and Brazil.

Quality

Customer satisfaction, innovation and quality of product and service have been the cornerstones of Bronkhorst High-Tech's success. In 1987 the company obtained the Koning Willem I Award for a young successful enterprise and in 1992 the company was certified to ISO 9001 with ISO 14001(International Standard for environmental management) following three years later. In April 2010 this ongoing commitment was rewarded by certification to the most recent Quality Management System, ISO 9001:2008. Also in 2010, the Bronkhorst Calibration Centre was awarded ISO/IEC 17025:2005 by the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA), guaranteeing the accuracy of every gas flow calibration performed by our calibration laboratory.

>t IN-FLOW series for industrial environments
The Mass Flow Meters of the IN-FLOW series are of rugged
design (IP65) for use in pilot and production plants in industrial
e
nvironments or even Zone 2 hazardous areas, with optional ATEX
Category 3 approval. Mass Flow Meters can be supplied in ranges
starting from 0,014…0,7 mln/min up to 11000 m3n/h air-equivalent,
with pressure rating between vacuum and 700 bar. In ombination
c
with control valves, either integrated or separate, Mass Flow
Controllers can be offered up to 10…500 m3n/h air-equivalent.

With reference to the specific field of application there are different
series of control valves. There is a standard direct acting valve for
common applications, a pilot operated valve for high flow rates, the
so-called Vary-P valve with pressure rating 400 or 700 bar, that can
cope with up to 400 bar ΔP and a bellows valve for applications with
very low differential pressure.

>t General IN-FLOW features

Bronkhorst High-Tech developed their latest digital instruments
a
ccording to the “multi-bus” principle. The main digital pc-board
contains all of the general functions needed for measurement and
control. In addition to the standard RS232 output the instruments
also offer analog I/O. As an option, an integrated interface board
provides DeviceNetTM, Profibus-DP®, Modbus-RTU or FLOW-BUS
protocols. The latter is a fieldbus based on RS485, specifically
designed by Bronkhorst High-Tech for their mass flow metering
and control solutions.
