Objective:
Sorting of PET-Flakes
By sorting out off-colours, distracting
material and metal particles, a final white,
transparent product containing less than
50 ppm off-colour is obtained.
The final product may be used in the food
industry (bottle to bottle) if pre-treated
accordingly as well as in the foil and fibre
industry .
Sorting material:
PET-Flakes
Grain size:
0 - 12 mm
Quantity:
up to approx. 4000 kg/h
Initial quality:
up to 10% off-colour
Rejected quantity:
up to 8000 rejected
parts/sec
Product quality:
< 50 ppm off-colour
NE+ Fe-metal:
> 0,5 mm
The MSort AF was especially designed for the sorting of
fine plastic particles.
It is equipped with a CCD-colour line scan camera and an
all metal detection working parallel.
Distracting material, off-colours and fine metal particles
are rejected with compressed air, using extremely fast
working compressed-air valves.
The complete structure of the machine is especially
suitable for the sorting of fine, light plastic parts, i.e. PE,
PP or PET. Dividing the machine allows an optimisation
of the sorting programmes for different grain classes or a
two-step sorting of the material with different programme
settings.
Finest distracting material and slightest colour differences
are detected and rejected with the utmost efficiency.
Due to the high specific quantity, small over-sorting and
low air consumption, the machine works unmatched
economical.
