The Elektron B2 Ultra is a special purpose machine used for
cutting and sealing the edges of synthetic fabrics where a clean
cut, fray-free cut edge is required. Unlike conventional ultrasonic
cutters, the Elektron B2 Ultra cuts all sides of a shape without moving
the fabric from the table giving productivity improvements of better
than 300%. And of course mistakes and waste are reduced and quality
improved… and you are not limited to just simple rectangular shapes.
Because the Elektron B2 Ultra is such a stiff and powerful machine, crush
cutting tools can be used on the ultrasonic table top for working with
materials where ultrasonic cutting isn’t needed. With two steered toolholders,
tools can be swapped automatically or exchanged for any standard Aeronaut
bayonet tool including creasing and scoring tools, drag blades, rotary blades
effectively future proofing the machine.

All Elektron cutters can be fitted with automatic fabric feeding systems
to pull material onto the cutting table without stress or distortion. The
Elektron B2 Ultra can be supplied with a multi-zone table enabling
ultrasonic, crush and blade cutting and creasing on the one machine
making it the ideal choice for any factory looking for a complete
automated cutting and squaring solution on the one table.
