Costituiti da una spirale in NiCr 80/20 alloggiata in
elementi modulari in steatite. Il Carter esterno è in lamiera
ALUSI o in acciaio inox.
Sono adatti a temperature di funzionamento fino a 600°C
e supportano carichi specifici fino a 8 W/cm2.
Al fine di limitare la temperatura del carter esterno e di
orientare il flusso termico verso la superficie da scaldare,
la fascia è schermata con uno spessore isolante in fibra
ceramica.
BAND HEATERS WITH CERAMIC INSULATION
Made from a NiCr 80/20 spiral insulated on steatite
cares; the external casing is made from either aluminated
sheet or stainless steel.
The band heaters are suitable for operating temperatures
up to 600°C and capable of withstanding specific power
up to 8 W/cm2. In order to reduce the temperature of the
external case and to direct the thermal flow towards the
application surface, the band heater is shielded on the
outside with a ceramic insulator.

Queste resistenze sono prevalentemente impiegate nel
settore delle materie plastiche per il riscaldamento di
presse ad iniezione, estrusori e soffiatrici.
Ceramic band heaters are mainly used in the plastics
industry for heating of injection moulding machines,
extruders and blowing machinery.

The bands, once tightened, allow a standard clearance of about 5 mm. The use of a
dynanometric wrench is suggested for fixing the screws at 7-8 Nm
