electric EZS 570, 580 and 590 tow tractors. Whether indoors or
outdoors – with towing capacities up to 9 tons, this heavy-duty,
high-performance tow tractor is suitable for every application.
But that is not all: Our Series 5 tow tractors also offer you not
only top driving comfort and safety but also even greater performance combined with low energy consumption:
•t The new comfort suspension system: The fully sprung chassis
with springs and shock absorbers on every wheel not only
spares the driver's back, but also the truck.
•t Robust design: The strong steel chassis and heavy-duty formed parts last the tow tractor's entire service life even when
used day in, day out.
•t The optional lighting with environmentally friendly LED
lighting elements is insensitive to shocks.
•t Easily accessible trailer coupling that can be clearly seen from
the driver's seat: Allows trailers to be connected and detached
safely from the operator position. Various couplings types are
available.

•t Spacious operator position: The low footstep allows the
operator to climb onto the tow tractor. The spacious footwell
provides more than enough legroom. The steering wheel,
travel direction switch and the indicator stalk are immediately
to hand and form an ergonomic unit.

the tow tractor and trailers come to a standstill on slopes,
they are secured by an automatic parking brake.

returned to the battery, thus extending its operating time.
•t Rapid battery replacement: The battery can be removed vertically using a crane or, optionally, replaced from the side of
the truck.
•t Economic use of battery pools: The XL version of our Series 5
EZS is equipped with the 625-Ah battery also used in the 48volt counterbalanced trucks.
