nnnnThe Jetline range of side beam tracksand carriages
nnnnis the most comprehensive and versatile range
nnnncurrently available from any manufacturer. Based
nnnnupon Jetline's 40 years of mechanized welding
nnnnexperience, the range of tracks and carriages has
nnnnbeen refined to provide answers to all the require-
nnnnments for this type of product. Whether the need
nnnnis for precision, compact design or weight carrying
nnnncapacity, a model exists for your purposes.
nnnnThe chart below gives a summary of the range,
nnnnSide beam tracks and carriage systems are used
nnnnin a variety of applications. They consist of three
nnnnelements - track, carriage and support posts
nnnnTrack
nnnnThe track consists of a beam on which the carriage
nnnnis supported and provides the rails or ways that
nnnnthe carriage rides upon. The track may be left
nnnnin its natural condition or can be hardened and
nnnncan be un-machined or machined, depending
nnnnupon its application. A single track can support a
nnnnnumber of carriages and can therefore be used
nnnnas a positioning support to locate the carriages
nnnnover the required areas on the part to be welded,
nnnnIt can also be used to provide linear movement of
nnnnthe carriage to complete a longitudinal weld or to
nnnnprovide convenient relocation of the carriage,
nnnnCarriage
nnnnCarriages can carry one or more welding headsand
nnnncan be fitted with cantilevered booms, especially
nnnnon the larger capacity models. They are available
nnnnas non-powered or powered models, the powered
nnnnmodels have a variety of drive systems available for
nnnnboth standard and precision movement. All pow-
nnnnered carriages are provided with Jetline's unique
nnnn9627 microprocessor control. This unit is operator-
nnnnfriendly and designed to control both the welding
nnnnsequence and travel speed.
nnnnSupport Posts
nnnnThe posts are designed to hold the track at the ap-
nnnnpropriate height for the application. Multiple posts
nnnnare used for long tracks and have track adjusting
nnnnbrackets to create and maintain the track align-
nnnnment over its complete length.
