The RS «Wireless emergency stop system» is designed to provide personnel

nnnn

working in a dangerous area with a means of stopping a machine in an

nnnn

emergency.

nnnn

The system comprises a safety receiver, a transmitter and a charger support.

nnnn

The safety receiver has the following inputs and outputs:

nnnn

• Depending on the application, one or two emergency stop inputs (ES), two-

nnnn

channel type, or one or two safety light barrier inputs (LB), type 4 per EN 61 496.

nnnn

• A radio input associated to the emergency stop button on the transmitter

nnnn

ensuring a SIL3 safety level.

nnnn

• Six static outputs associated to the function buttons on the transmitter.

nnnn

• 3 static outputs for indication of the operating state

nnnn

• Depending on the application, one or two inputs monitoring presence of

nnnn

the transmitter on the charger.

• Modulate a rotation speed by 2 pushbuttons

• Control handling of a component by 4 pushbuttons

• Select components by means of selector switches
