The latest generation of aerators, the

ELASTOX®-P plate air diffuser, offered by us con-

stitutes a system component for sewage techno-

logy based on our extensive know-how and long

years of experience in the production and oper-

ation of sewage treatment facilities.The result is

an aeration system that combines the advantages

nnnn

of all previous systems, i.e.:

■ Optimum gas admission properties

■ High oxygen utilization values

Depending on the actual application and the basin

nnnn

geometry, the ELASTOX®-P plate air diffuser can

nnnn

be applied for area, broadband or line aeration as

nnnn

well as aeration with separate circulation. Since

nnnn

the application of the area-type aeration is almost

nnnn

independent from the basin shape, also existing

nnnn

buildings can very well be re-equipped or retro-

nnnn

fitted.

The structural design of the ELASTOX®-P plate

nnnn

air diffuser has been developed in such a way that,

nnnn

as a rule, the tube air diffusers of 40/70 diameter

nnnn

can be exchanged.Typical applications are the

nnnn

Operational principle

The structural design of the support body bottom

surface prevents the accumulation of gas volumes

below the air diffuser and reduces buoyancy by

effective degassing.

The optimised perforation of the membrane in

nnnn

conjunction with the degassing surface directed

nnnn

upwards ensures a uniform coalescence-free gas

nnnn

admission with high oxygen utilisation co-

nnnn

efficients.

nnnn

In case of pressure relief, the perforation of the

nnnn

rubber membrane closes automatically and thus

nnnn

prevents the ingress of liquid. Optionally, a flap

nnnn

trap can be inserted between the air inlet connec-

nnnn

tion and the membrane, which additionally seals

nnnn

the air channels against liquid flowing back.

nnnn

The special membrane materials, developed

nnnn

based on long years of experience, were opti-

nnnn

mized by numerous series of tests, and they are

nnnn

expected to have a long lifetime.
