Clansman Powerbreakers solves the problem of cutting and handling

gatings in the foundry. Shorter gatings are easier to transport and to

remelt. The gating is fed into the Powerbreaker which instantly grips,

bends and breaks the gating. Powerbreakers have been in operation

since 1995.

manutension des jets, masselottes et canaux de coulees dans les

fonderies. Plus petits ils sont plus faciles a transporter et a refondre.

in fonderia. Colate (0 materozze) piu corte sono piu facili da trasportare

e riutilizzare per la fusione. Le colate vengono introdotte nel dispositivo

di taglio (cesoia idraulica) che immediatamente le afferra utilizzando

le pinze, le piega e le rompe. I dispositivi di taglio 0 cesoie idrauliche

sono operativi in fonderia dal 1995.

CAPACITY AND APPLICATIONS

Up to 120 diameter sections all ductile iron grades. The head of the

Powerbreaker is either mounted in a fixed position over a conveyor

or scrap box or for maximum productivity on a manipulator as a part

of the tooling. The broken pieces are directed safely downwards by

the action of the Powerbreaker.

CAPACITE ET APPLICATIONS

Casse des sections Josqu'a 120mm de tous types. La tete du Power-

breaker peut etre installee en position fixe soit, au dessus du convoyeur

ou d'une benne, soit pour une production maximale, directement sur

un telemanipulateur. Les pieces cassees sont ejectees par Taction du

Powerbreaker.

Spharoguss bis zu einem Durchmesser von 120mm Querschnitt. Der

Kopf des Powerbreakers ist entweder uber einem Band oder einem

Behalter fest installiert. Urn die Produktivitat zu erhdhen, kann das

System auf einen Manipulator als Teil des Werkzeuges montiert werden.

Die gebrochenen Teile fallen gezielt durch die Einwirkung des Power-

breakers abwarts.

MAINTENANCE

The 2 cutting fingers are cast from high steel alloy, heat treated,

hardfaced with special weld and then heat treated again.

There is a unique bearing arrangement to withstand the very large

side forces that can occur during the cutting action of the Powerbreaker.

The wear faces typically last 5000 hours before refacing is required.

MAINTENANCE

Les deux doigts de coupe sont en acier avec traitement thermique

plus traitement de surface par soudure speciale et Pensemble est

retraite a nouveau.

Un seul axe articulation, capable de resister au couple tres important

lors de Taction de casse. Si necessaire la surface des doigts de coupe

peut etre rechargee, (environ toutes les 5000h).

INSTANDHALTUNG

Lageranordnung erlaubt das Abfangen von Seitenkraften, die wahrend

des Brechvorgangs auftreten konnen. Die Verschleissflachen konnen

eine Standzeit von 5000 Stunden erreichen, bevor eine

Wiederaufpanzerung durchgefuhrt werden muB.

MANUTENZIONE

I due dispositivi di taglio sono costruiti in acciaio ad alta resistenza,

trattato termicamente, con superfici indurite con Tapporto di materiale

di saldatura, e ritrattato termicamente.

Un solo asse articolato, capace di resistere alle importanti forze di

contrasto laterali durante l'azione di taglio della cesoia. Le piastre di

usura hanno una durata di 5000h.
