Shutter Printhead HP

Markoprint ZDP enables continuous printing in ongoing
production.
• Cartridge replacement or cleaning without stopping production
• Alternate printing from the different cartridges prevents the
ink from drying
• Designed for HP and LX printheads
• Up to 25 mm print height with a parallel twin printhead
• Signal exchange for pharmaceutical applications with a camera: In the event of a misprint, the cartridge responsible is
stopped while the second continues printing error-free

The Markoprint HP nozzle seal is effective in protecting the ink
from getting contaminated or drying out.
• Nozzle plate closes automatically when nothing is being printed
• If an additional light barrier detects that the production line
has restarted, the cartridge in the printhead is returned to
the print position
• Clean printing is guaranteed even after several days of
downtime
• Pressure in the housing prevents dust getting in (via external compressed air supply)

High-speed controllers for all Markoprint printheads
The compact and robust controllers XB4JET and XB8JET are used to control the inkjet printheads for product marking solutions.
The following Markoprint printing technologies are supported: Hewlett-Packard, Funai, Trident.
• Simultaneous marking of primary and secondary packaging using a controller
• Printing on up to two production lines with the XB4JET and up to four production lines with the XB8JET
• Perfect for fixed installation in control cabinets as it offers full remote control capabilities through different interfaces
• Print layout can be designed using the iDesign software included in the scope of delivery
• Print layouts are sent to the XB4JET and XB8JET using the network connection, EIA232, USB interface or a USB stick
Markoprint XB4JET
to connect up to four printheads. Print heights with HP and
LX printheads up to 50 mm; with MX, up to 400 mm.

Markoprint XB8JET
to connect up to eight printheads. Print heights with HP and
LX printheads up to 100 mm; with MX, up to 800 mm.
