nnnnZentrische APS®-Klappen
nnnnFunktionsbeschreibung / Ansteuerung:
nnnnrenzdruck. Der ermittelte Spanndruck ist von dem
nnnnan der Armatur angebrachten Etikett abzulesen.
nnnnDie Manschette darf keinesfalls direkt, ohne
nnnnDruckminderer, welcher auf den werkseitig
nnnnvorgegebenen Spanndruck eingestellt ist, an die
nnnnLuft- bzw. Stickstoffversorgung angeschlossen
nnnnwerden.
nnnneine statische Abdichtung erfolgt.
nnnnnach o. a. Beschreibung zu erfolgen.
nnnnCentric APS^-Valves
nnnnFunction / Positioning of the Elements:
nnnnAll APS1' Valves are tested for function and tightness
nnnnof seal before they leave the factory. The gripping
nnnnpressure required for the sealing sleeve is calculated
nnnnand set in accordance with the differential pressure
nnnngiven by the customer. This gripping pressure is
nnnnrecorded on the label on the armature. Therefore,
nnnnwhen ordering an APS® Valve, please make sure you
nnnngive the differential pressure.
nnnnIn general we can say: "the gripping pressure should
nnnnbe as little as possible but as much as necessary".
nnnnThe sleeve should never be attached directly to an
nnnnair supply for a pneumatic drive without a pressure
nnnnreducer (at the factory-set gripping pressure).
nnnnEven with a high differential pressure, the design of
nnnnthe sealing sleeve allows you to have a relatively low
nnnngripping pressure. For example, a gripping pressure of
nnnn3 bar may be sufficient for a differential pressure of
nnnn6 bar. We cannot give you any hard and fast rules for
nnnnthis, because the values depend on the nominal widths
nnnnof the Valves, the composition of the elastomers and
nnnnthe media, and so each individual system has to be
nnnncalculated separately.
nnnnAnother pre-requisite for a perfect functioning is a
nnnndelay switch, i.e. the sleeve must be pressurised
nnnnwith compressed air 0,5-2 seconds after the Valve
nnnnhas closed (after the signal of the limit switch). In this
nnnnway, you can be sure that the Valve disk is closed
nnnn("ZU") before the sleeve is pressed down on to it.
nnnnThis ensures a static seal. The same thing is true in
nnnnreverse, i.e. when opening the Valve.
nnnnThe sealing element relaxes again approximately 2
nnnnseconds before the Valve disk is opened and is ideally
nnnnsupported by a vacuum dispenser. The sealing
nnnnelastomer therefore retains its elasticity over a
nnnnlengthy period. A vacuum dispenser is also required if
nnnnthe Shut-Off Valve is used with a vacuum. Particularly
nnnnin the high vacuum range the ventilation of the seal
nnnncollar should be done via a vacuum system present at
nnnnthe customer.
nnnnWe would urge you to keep very strictly to this
nnnnprocedure, because failure to do so will result in all
nnnnguarantees becoming null and void. One way of
nnnnmaking sure that these important parameters are
nnnnkept to, so as to ensure perfect functioning of your
nnnnAPS® Valve, is to use one of our operating systems
nnnnfor example see drawing 000331a.
