PSI manufactures Divert Valves to aid in redirecting the
flow of the melt stream. Divert Valves perform a variety
of functions for the polymer, food, hot-melt and chemical
industries. Multi-port configurations for co-extrusion
(3 way/4 way) and turn-key systems are also available.
Our Inline Filters provide a cost effective filtration
solution for a variety of thermoplastics and processes. The
Inline Filter features a cylindrical filter element that allows
the equivalent of large diameter screen packs to be
contained within the compact unit. The rugged design of
the Inline filter allows leak-free operation to 10,000 psi
and 3,000 psi across the filter.
Our Uniflo Mixers allow continuous mixing and
blending for a variety of materials by dividing the melt
stream continually. The principle of operation is a helical
mixing element, containing alternating elements or fins,
which provide complete radial and axial blending for any
combination of liquids, gases and polymers with minimal
pressure drop.
DIV Benefits
Quickly diverts melt stream when required
Allows for quick and easy change over
Can process highly corrosive and high
pressure applications
ILF Benefits
Filters out contaminants
Reduces frequency of line shutdown and
increases production
Filters can be changed without removing
dies or process equipment
