nnnnBSP-MT10-95 heatless adsorption
nnnndryers with integral purification and
nnnncatalytic stages are designed to treat
nnnncompressed air reliably and efficiently
nnnnto meet the medical breathing air
nnnnrequirements of the European Pharma-
nnnncopia and other relevant specifications.
nnnnThe units are constructed in a compact
nnnnmanner and designed to be free-stand-
nnnning. They are equipped with built-on
nnnnpre- and after filtration and are sized
nnnnfor volumetric flows of up to 1371 m3/h
nnnn(suction capacity of the compressor
nnnnreferring to a compression of 13 barj.
nnnnCompressed air first enters the
nnnnvalidated GL pre-filter into one of two
nnnntwin-vessels; both filled with a specific
nnnndrying-agent. One vessel dries and
nnnnremoves harmful vapours from the
nnnncompressed air while the other vessel
nnnnundergoes regeneration. At the start
nnnnof the drying-cycle, this vessel is open
nnnnto atmosphere and a small propor-
nnnntion of dried compressed air passes
nnnnthrough the adsorption bed, transport-
nnnning the humidity and harmful vapours
nnnnout. When this procedure is complete,
nnnnthe vessel is re-pressurised in readi-
nnnnness to repeat the drying procedure.
nnnnContinuous, uninterrupted opera-
nnnntion is maintained utilising so-called
nnnnpressure-swing technology together
nnnnwith individually operated main- and
nnnnexhaust valves.

nnnnDry compressed air subsequently
nnnnenters the integral purification and
nnnncatalytic stage where oil-vapour,
nnnnodours, gaseous vapours and traces
nnnnof carbon-monoxide are reliably
nnnnremoved. Finally, the clean, treated air
nnnnexits via the validated GL after-filter
nnnninto the downstream compressed air
nnnnnetwork.
nnnnThe BSP-MT10-95 Breathing-air treat-
nnnnment system operates a fixed, timed
nnnnchangeover-cycle between the two
nnnndryer vessels. Where the application
nnnnrequires additional monitoring, the
nnnninstallation of a dew point sensor is
nnnnavailable as an option: The chosen
nnnnpressure dew point settings (changeo-
nnnnver set-point) allow the changeover
nnnntimes of the individual vessels to
nnnnbe adjusted to meet operating re-
nnnnquirements whilst providing reliable
nnnnmonitoring of the dryers performance.
nnnnAn adjustable alarm is available via
nnnnvoltage-free signal.
