Una delle applicazioni piй frequenti nella tecnologia degli ultrasuoni, sicuramente quella dellinserimento diparti metalliche in termoplastici stampati.
Inserti come mandrini e boccole filettate, possono essere facilmente inseriti con caratteristiche di tenuta a
torsione e strappo notevoli. Per ottenere un inserimento con minime tensioni e buona resistenza, devono
essere rispettate le regole seguenti:
- I pezzi metallici devono essere ben guidati. Si deve prevedere un foro di centraggio con un diametro maggio-
re di 0,1 mm.
- I fori ciechi devono essere circa 2 mm. pi蒹 profondi della lunghezza dellinserto per permettere di ricevere la
materia plastificata in eccedenza.
- Per ottenere una elevata resistenza alla torsione e allo strappo, le pareti attorno ai fori recettori devono essere
almeno di 2 mm.
- EҒ preferibile toccare il pezzo con il sonotrodo in vibrazione. La velocit di discesa deve essere lenta. la
pressione di spinta deve essere molto bassa.
- Al fine di diminuire le forze di trazione sugli inserti, si raccomanda di lasciare superare agli inserti, la superfi-
cie del pezzo stampato di circa 0,1 mm.Nelle figure riportate, sono indicati alcuni esempi di inserimento e il dimensionamento corretto degli inserti. T echnical dat a sheet N1 INSERTION OF MET AL P ARTS >
One of the most frequent applications within ultrasonic technology is certainly the insertion of metal parts intothermoplastics.
Inserts as spindles or threaded bushes can be easily inserted with outstanding twist and tear strength
characteristics.
In order to obtain an insertion with minimal strain and good resistance, the following rules have to observed:
- The metal parts have to be well guided. You have to foresee a centering hole with a diameter > 0.1 mm.
- The dead holes have to be about 2 mm deeper than the insertఒs length to permit to receive the surplus of
plasticized material.
- In order to obtain an elevated twist and tear strength, the walls around the receiving holes have to be at least
2 mm.
- You should touch the part while the sonotrode is vibrating. The descent speed has to be slow. The thrust
force has to be very low.
- In order to reduce the tensile stress on the inserts, we recommend to place the insert about 0.1 mm lower
than the surface of the thermoplastics.In the following figures are indicated some insertion examples and the correct insert dimensions. size="-1">
